M I N I M A L I Z M : 5MJ

The Five Minute Journal (“5MJ”) is a two-step daily routine where you write out your intentions and affirmations for the day and recap the positive events and opportunities at night. So many folks have attributed this simple activity to achieving mental clarity and purposeful focus, so I thought it’d be a great habit to adopt!

I am grateful for…

  • The cool temperature inside James’s house
  • Having spending cash
  • Lunch conversations with friends that invariably turns to justice, the law, hopes, and ideas

What would make today great?

  • Seeing my Capitol friends at the Silicon Valley Asian Pacific Islander Democrats dinner (quite the club qualifications, huh?)
  • Laughing heartily
  • Being unrushed
